Pre-Registration Checklist

To begin the process of registering your business in the State of Tennessee, you will need to have/know the following information about the business you would like to register:

Establish a user name and password to access this online service.
Determine the business entity type. (What's This?)
Decide on a business name.
Have business location, mailing, and principal office addresses.
Have the name of a Registered Agent in Tennessee and contact information.
Obtain names, addresses, phone numbers and social security numbers of members, partners, incorporators, or organizers of the business.
